A Donkey X Norwegian Fjord Horse = Fjule

We outbid the 'Meat Buyers' on this little darling. It took us two weeks to appropriately name this little lady. Meet Tové (toh-ve), she is a Fjule. A Fjule is a Fjord X Donkey = Mule.
So, how do you make a Fjule you ask? Mules are sterile and cannot breed, the only way to make a mule is to use a male donkey and a female horse.
Tové (toh-ve) when she first arrived to us was underweight and had lice - See the new and improved Tové below!
History:
We were told Tové is 3 years old and not halter broke. We know nothing of her past. We know her mother was a Fjord and her father was a Donkey (not a Mammoth Jack). When she arrived she was very panicked and reactive.
Mules are very smart and like to make the most out of every situation. They are more reactive than horses, and with time, consistency and patience they make excellent equine partners!
This is Tové (toh-ve) today! She has filled out and she is a very pretty young lady!
Our Assessment:
Tové (toh-ve) is incredibly smart and kind. She is very willing, however reactive. With every training exercise she needs to be desensitized to silly goofy things - like humans jumping and flailing, jackets flailing, bags, noises, anything you can think up really - she cannot be flooded, she will learn nothing. She gains confidence to scary things surprisingly quickly. She cannot be snuck around - it feeds her extra sensitive flight response. As humans, we make mistakes and fall or trip or yell or drop stuff by accident, and she reacts to that sort of stuff - she gets quieter the more goofy you are.
